I didn't realize he could do that, because I've been feeding him the girls new area. We'll have to make sure he's not left in the backyard area with the zipper door.oak haven alpacashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02603968424369860667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7907711086772707520.post-50112505615738195362010-04-26T10:28:46.477-04:002010-04-26T10:28:46.477-04:00Its official, Spot knows how to unzipper the zippe...Its official, Spot knows how to unzipper the zipper on your hay shelter. We were both feeding the alpacas Sunday morning when he did just that after eating his breakfast. We thought he would just come to us when we called him since we saw him slip through the tent, but he just kept running like it was a game. It actually ended up being pretty comical....Noah chased him all the way to Hess Lake in his socks (his clunky work boots were not good for running and fell off in the woods behind your neighbors house.) I ended up picking them up with the car on the Spruce down towards the lake. Spot had quite the adventure and Noah was sure all your neighbors thought he was a crazy person running through the woods shoeless! Anyway, watch out for Spot and the Zipper! He is a sneaky one! Can't wait to hear how the other two girls did at the show!Mother Robinsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02250397737239524595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7907711086772707520.post-41048082897065970532010-04-24T21:43:26.255-04:002010-04-24T21:43:26.255-04:00oh no! It doesn't help that the neighbors across the street left a big ham bone outside, that Spot found. He thinks he can get a ham bone if he escapes. Thankfully he usually doesn't go far, and he does always come back to his girls (one time I couldn't find him, but he did eventually come home on his own). It just takes him some time (and sometimes someone escorting him).oak haven alpacashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02603968424369860667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7907711086772707520.post-66435264070234449962010-04-24T18:20:56.593-04:002010-04-24T18:20:56.593-04:00Sounds like you guys are having a good time. Noah thinks he might have slipped into the hay shelter and them under the other side while he was feeding the girls, because the gate was still closed. He looked for Spot for about 20 mins before Justin's Mom brought him back luckily. The neighbors across Spruce found him in their yard. He sure travels fast!Mother Robinsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02250397737239524595noreply@blogger.com
