Growing Cria
Our cria are growing like weeds. Now that they have been shorn, they look quite a bit different. I do like the cute full fleece cria look, but in no time their fleece will fill in again.

The cria are darling. Glad everything worked out and Ruby's mom didn't keep rejecting her. We never have yet sheared any cria because of this fear. Mind you, it sure helps make the fibre useable, so I've strongly considered it. Couple that with the much hotter summers we are getting these past couple years, those sheared babies must be way more comfortable without that thick coat.
