Last Minute

I am not generally a last minute kind of person. I usually get too stressed out by the pressure, and prefer to have things done ahead of time. But it seems when I am processing alpaca fiber, it takes longer than I anticipate, so I am often pushing deadlines when it comes to alpaca projects. Here it is the day before Christmas and I am still processing fiber.

Here is some of Greyt's fiber that I'm spinning:

J is working on knitting a scarf out of Tucker's fiber (he had to wait for me to finish the yarn):

That's why I don't put pressure on myself. What's done is done and what isn't won't be. Some family members are getting photos of their intended projects while others will see the WIP.

Don't sweat it...all will work out wonderfully.

Happy Fiber Arts Friday and Merry Christmas!

Yup, I never promise anyone anything hand-knitted on a deadline :) The only hand knitted item I gave this year was a little jewelry bag I knitted up to use as a gift card holder. It used up a partial ball of dyed yarn I had on hand and was a quick knit. Should've taken a pic, but I didn't.
